Ella's Story

I'm Ella, the founder of ELLA POP SHOP, and I'm delighted to share my passion for sustainable fashion with you.

Ella Pop Shop started its journey in 2016, right when my second son began school. From humble beginnings at the Woodstreet indoor market in Walthamstow to a brief stint on Francis Road in Leytonstone, our evolution has been nothing short of adventurous. The trials of the pandemic forced us to pivot back in 2020, and that's when we started building an online presence too.

Ella Pop Shop started out online on platforms like ASOS Marketplace and Depop, where we honed our skills in visual storytelling and styling. But the desire for independence led us to create our very own website in July 2023, marking a new chapter in our journey.

About Ella Pop Shop

At Ella Pop Shop, we stand for more than just fashion; we stand for a movement towards sustainability and ethical practices. Rejecting the notion of fast fashion, we celebrate garments that are made to last, not destined for landfills. Our commitment to fair pricing ensures that ethical choices are accessible to all, without compromising on quality or style.

With a nod to my Parisian roots, Ella Pop Shop offers a curated selection of true vintage pieces from the glamorous eras of the 60s and 70s. Think Francoise Hardy's effortless chic, Birkin and Gainsbourg's iconic style, and the avant-garde designs of Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Haut-Marais’s Les Bain Douches. But we're not stuck in the past; we embrace the edgy vibes of modern fashion while staying attuned to current trends.

While our home is in the digital realm, you can also catch us at vintage markets and fairs across London and beyond - You can check out our upcoming in-person events here.

Our collection is ever-evolving, reflecting a blend of chic Parisian elegance and vibrant eclecticism. Each piece in our collection tells a story, waiting to become a part of yours. So come, explore, and embrace the joy of vintage fashion at Ella Pop Shop. When it's gone... it's gone!
